Northern Ireland Holds First Military Steeplechase Competition

Around 150 regular and reserve troops have taken part in Northern Ireland's first military steeplechase competition.
 
Until now the security situation in the province has prevented events like this taking place outside of secure bases, so it was fitting that the venue for the inaugural competition was a former training area that hasn’t seen soldiers since the Great War.
