In pictures: Military personnel out in force at capital's rail and transport hubs for London Poppy Day
Thousands of military personnel have taken to the streets of London to help raise £1m in a day for the Royal British Legion's (RBL's) Poppy Appeal.
Personnel from the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force and Armed Forces veterans all took part in the effort.
The servicemen and women met commuters and collected donations at the tube and main railway and underground stations across the capital for the annual London Poppy Day.
