Recruits To Be Asked Sexual Orientation
Recruits to the Armed Forces will be asked if they are gay in future, as part of efforts to end homophobic bullying and improve diversity in the military.
The Ministry of Defence says service personnel will be encouraged to give their sexual orientation but that it will not be mandatory for them to do so.
