Samaritans launches wellbeing app for Armed Forces veterans

The charity Samaritans has launched a new app to help veterans and service leavers when they are transitioning out of the military and with life after the Armed Forces.

The wellbeing app looks to provide support for issues personnel may face when readjusting to a life outside of the military.

It is free, includes resources to get help if required and allows users to connect with others who may experience similar challenges.

The app launch comes after data suggests 30,000 military personnel have contacted Samaritans over the last three years â€“ with 70% of those veterans.
