Deptherapy Helps Veterans Recover With Scuba Diving

Veterans are using scuba diving as a form of rehabilitation following serious injury.

Former service personnel who may be suffering with pain, and mental health issues such as PTSD, have reported an alleviation of their symptoms when underwater.

The charity Deptherapy teaches veterans how to dive, and helps them achieve their diving qualifications, from the basic PADI Open Water all the way through to Dive Master.

We joined them in a training session Eagle House School's pool in Sandhurst, where professional instructors were learning how to teach disabled divers.
