The Veterans Saving Britain's Lost Canals

A £500,000 project has been using the skills of forces veterans to save Britain's lost canals.

Waterways like the Pocklington Canal, in North Yorkshire, are in need of serious repairs.

It's currently unnavigable, with much work to do before the 200-year-old channel can be filled with water again.

The project has also been helping veterans with mental illnesses in their recovery, meanwhile.
