Loved ones of military personnel serving around the forces world have recorded special Valentine's Day messages for their significant others.

Serving your country often means duty comes before romantic time spent with loved ones.

This Valentine's Day, many will be on deployment in places such as Afghanistan, Africa, Bahrain, Baltics, Belize, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Gibraltar, Iraq and the Falkland Islands.

There will also be many others around the UK who are separated from loved ones as they carry out their duties on home soil.
