Major Housing Development For Veterans Under Way
Building work has begun on 44 new apartments which will make up a unique veterans' hub.
The development, in Wilton, near Salisbury in Wiltshire, is being constructed on the site of the former Erskine military barracks.
The apartments are for service personnel and their partners, who will be able to stay for the short to medium term to help them transition to civilian life.
The Our Wilton project is being funded with a £3.5 million grant from Libor banking fines, as well as £500,000 from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund.
