Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo brings hundreds of performers to Scotland
Eight hundred military performers from around the world will be attending the famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2023.
Featuring military performing talent from the UK, Trinidad and Tobago, Switzerland, Norway, and the United States, this year's show promises to bring more incredible acts to its Edinburgh Castle venue.
Running from 4-26 August, the annual series of military tattoos will be performed by the British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands, and artistic performance teams.
United States Air Force Colonel Don Schofield, who is part of the band performing this year, said: "That's what we've loved about being able to get to know all of the other musicians here as they bring the flavour of their culture.
"So, it is a great, great, I look at it almost like a great meal and this is one of the flavours we add to an incredible meal for all of these people here tonight."
