Respite For Military Patients And Families At Fisher House
It’s described as a “home away from home” - an 18 room house offering respite to injured service people and their families.
Paid for by charitable donations and a grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund, Fisher House won a Sun Military Award for its support to the Armed Forces.
It is next door to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital - meaning families can stay close by while medics treat their loved ones.
