British troops show off anti-tank weapons in Lithuania

British troops in Lithuania have been demonstrating some of the anti-tank weapons the UK is sending to Ukraine.

The NLAW and Javelin have already been used effectively against Russian armour and, on Wednesday, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace announced shipments of hardware to Ukraine.

An anti-tank squadron from the Royal Dragoon Guards showed off the weapons on an exercise with the Lithuanian Army that was planned before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Lithuania also neighbours the Russian enclave at Kaliningrad, with concerns President Putin may try to punch through a route known as the Suwalki Corridor – effectively joining the enclave to Russia.
