Ukraine: Patriot missiles delivered to Slovakia as NATO builds eastern security

NATO is building up security on its eastern flank by delivering Patriot missiles to Slovakia.

A Dutch convoy delivered the ground-based defensive system to help the country strengthen its borders following the Russian invasion of Slovakia's neighbour, Ukraine.

While the ground-based Patriot systems are not used offensively, they will form part of the NATO's Integrated Air and Missile Defence System, which safeguards and protects alliance territory, populations and forces against any air and missile threat or attack.
