Watch: Are these unmanned ground vehicles the future of the battlefield?

Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) have undergone trials to see if they could carry out resupply tasks on the battlefield.

If the tests prove successful, the vehicles could be tasked with delivering essentials such as water, ammunition and fuel to the frontline without risking human life.

Scientists at the Defence, Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) at Porton Down have brought two prototypes to trial: Titan and Viking.
