Troops kick off Christmas celebrations with Santa fun run

Army personnel have got their Christmas celebrations started with a 5km Santa and fancy dress fun run.

Troops from 2nd Battalion Mercian Regiment held the traditional run at Weeton Barracks, Lancashire.

This year's run also marks the regiment's last Christmas together as they prepare to disband next year.
