CSG21: Timelapse Of HMS Queen Elizabeth Arriving In Japan

HMS Queen Elizabeth, the Royal Navy's flagship has arrived in Japan.

The Carrier Strike Group will be conducting exercise and engagements in Japan throughout September.

Commodore Steve Moorhouse, the Commander of the UK Carrier Strike Group said the visit is part of the UK's commitment to strengthen "diplomatic, economic and security ties in the Indo-Pacific".

It is one of several planned port visits in Japan by those on the Carrier Strike Group 21 (CSG 21) deployment.
