Watch: Becoming a Gurkha – the final test

More than 300 Gurkha recruits have been going through their final exercise of basic training.

On the final leg of their 39-week journey to becoming a soldier, the trainees were put through their paces at Otterburn training camp. 

The Gurkhas have cultivated a reputation as one of the most formidable fighting forces and joining their ranks is a long-held ambition for this group of recruits.
