How could the weather influence any potential Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Concern continues to mount over Russia's intention to invade Ukraine – with no firm way of knowing if or when it may happen.

Hundreds of tanks sit on the Russian side of the border with Ukraine, with many fearing Russia plans on using tank warfare in any potential invasion, although the Kremlin has denied planning to invade.

But one factor that would certainly influence any decision is the weather, which might mean an invasion comes sooner rather than later.
