Military horsepower: Behind the scenes with the Household Cavalry

As the military prepares for its ceremonial role in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Forces News has been behind the scenes and getting to know the horses of the Household Cavalry.

Sourced from Ireland, the animals are specially selected to carry large amounts of weight – entering a strict training programme at about the age of three.
