Poignant Poppy: Pupils Given New Interactive History Lesson
Poppies are touring Scotland to bring their story of symbolism to people around the country.
It is part of a new project taking the symbol of remembrance to schools and communities around Scotland, launched by charity Poppyscotland.
The Poppy Bud is a mobile interactive learning space aimed at raising awareness of how it helps support veterans and make visitors consider its place in modern society.
The pupils of Saint Denis’ Primary were the first visitors to this new museum.
The mobile facility allows the charity to take education to schools instead of pupils having to travel to the factory in Edinburgh.
Pupils even have a chance to make their own poppy as part of the educational activities.

Rubin, a pupil from Saint Denis', said: "I think it's amazing because it's a way of learning how it happened, and how the poppy became a thing."
Headteacher Louise Mackie says the experience has gone down very well with her students:
"The feedback I'm getting from the children is they've all had a lovely day."
The tour will travel the length and breadth of Scotland, telling the tale of the flower, and how it continues to help thousands of veterans to this day.
