New technology aids air traffic control at RAF Shawbury
RAF Shawbury has been kitted out with new technology which will transform the way air traffic controllers work.
The upgrade includes touch screen controls, more detailed flight information and clearer positioning of aircraft.
The enhanced pictures and safety features are to be rolled out to more than 60 Ministry of Defence sites in the UK and overseas by 2024.
