The Ministry of Defence (MOD) confirmed earlier this week that the British Army will continue to wear bearskin hats.

So we asked you whether you think the Army should still wear the authentic bearskin caps.

The votes are in, with the results overwhelmingly one way.

4,489 votes were cast in our poll – which was held across our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels.

In total, 3,782 people, or 84%, said the Army should continue wearing the hats, with only 707, or 16%, saying they shouldn't.
