Forensic Work Continues To Identify Argentine Soldiers Buried On Falkland Islands

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has started the second phase of forensic work to identify Argentine soldiers buried in the Falkland Islands.

The work will involve exhuming human remains belonging to a number of individuals located within one grave near Darwin.

This phase follows on from the first project, where 115 soldiers were identified from 122 graves, and aims to allow the families of the deceased to grieve their loved ones almost 40 years after the conflict.
