'We really are grateful', says Armed Forces chief in Christmas message
Admiral Sir Tony Radakin has delivered a personal Christmas message to the UK's Armed Forces, praising their "worthwhile" sacrifice.
In the address recorded for Forces News, Chief of the Defence Staff has wished all personnel a happy Christmas and thanked "them and their families for what they do on behalf of the nation".
Adm Radakin said how thankful the nation was as he sympathised with the sacrifice and "tough" commitment the personnel and their families must endure with time spent apart.
