Families alleging unlawful killings by UK special forces in Afghanistan call for 'truth' from inquiry

Families who allege unlawful killings by British special forces in Afghanistan have called on an independent inquiry to "provide the truth".
The inquiry, which is set to begin hearings at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday, will focus on alleged illegal activity by special forces in the wartorn nation between 2010 and 2013.
The inquiry will hear from the families of 33 people, including eight children, who were allegedly killed by special forces.
The probe will also look at allegations of an alleged cover-up of illegal activity by the Royal Military Police.
A Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "The MOD is fully committed to supporting the inquiry as it continues its work."
