Rare access into NATO's frontline air policing sorties over Romania

Forces News has joined one of the new NATO air policing sorties over the skies of Romania, part of the alliance's response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. 

It is the first time a reporter has been granted access to fly with the crews now operating these missions from RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus.

We were on board a Voyager refuelling aircraft that flew alongside two armed Typhoon fast jets.
