Prince Harry cheers on military veterans during surprise Warrior Games appearance

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at this year's Warriors Games in San Diego, California.
The Duke of Sussex spent time with some of the athletes and their families at the military veterans' event.
He also joined spectators to watch the Sitting Volleyball Finals as the 2023 Warrior Games came to a close.
The 2023 Warrior Games Challenge is a Paralympic-style competitive event featuring adaptive sports used by wounded warriors as part of their recovery process.
Each service provides newly enrolled wounded warriors with access to adaptive sports, allowing them to find new ways of enhancing their recovery journey.
This year saw approximately 300 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans participate.
After visiting the Warrior Games in America in 2013, the Duke of Sussex was inspired to create the Invictus Games, which sees military veterans compete in multiple sports competitions.
This summer, the German city of DĂĽsseldorf will play host to the next Invictus Games. Its mission is to inspire recovery and support rehabilitation for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.
Team UK for this year's games was revealed in March at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.
They are being supported by the Royal British Legion (RBL), in partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
