Mercian and Fusilier Band perform in the streets of Denmark

A combined band of the Mercian Regiment and Royal Regiment of Fusiliers paraded through the streets of Sønderborg in Denmark for the annual Ringriding Festival.

They were the British contingent at the 100-year-old festival - the largest equestrian festival in the Nordic countries which sees around 40,000 visitors.

Cheering crowds lined the route as the bands from across Europe led competitors through the streets of Sonderborg.

The festival features two band tattoos, numerous parades and marches from the castle to the festival ground.
