Soldiers from Burma Company, 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment carried out a demonstration for Jordanian officers during Exercise Olive Grove to show the integration of training.

The five-week exercise provides an opportunity to train a Light Role Company Group in an austere desert environment at the Abu Salem Urban Training Village in northern Jordan, as well as enhance the defence relationship with the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).

Major Liam McAulay, Officer Commanding Burma Company, said for many of the troops, it was their first overseas exercise working with foreign allies and, on this occasion, partnering with the 16th Special Missions Battalion of the King Hussain Brigade.
