This timelapse video shows the beginning of her journey out to sea from Devonport naval base in Plymouth.
At the weekend, Scott bid farewell to fellow survey ship HMS Echo, whose 20-year career in the Navy was marked with a decommissioning ceremony at Portsmouth Naval Base where the journey began.
