#NepalYomp: Marine To Walk 35 Miles A Day

Former Royal Marine Paul Mattin has begun a 170 mile Yomp in a charity bid to raise tens of thousands of pounds for stricken communities suffering in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake.

After developing a close connection to the country and his inhabitants through annual visits as a tour leader, Paul has made many friends in Nepal and hopes his walk from Devon to the Nepalese embassy in London will raise awareness for his campaign.

Paul Mattin had hoped to raise £10,000 – a target that has already been smashed.
