The winners of the 2023 Royal Air Force Photographic Competition have been announced.

Judges sifted through 50 videos and 1,700 photos submitted for the 12 categories this year.

The best entries included images of aircraft, personnel, and heartwarming moments, with the competition's categories including personnel, current RAF equipment, RAF operations and exercises, the Mallett Student Trophy, section portfolio, and video.

A full list of the winners and runners-up can be found here.

The competition's judges have also put forward 12 images for the People's Choice category where members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite image over a two-week period via the Royal Air Force's official Facebook page.

The result will be announced at the awards ceremony on 16 November.
