"25,000 Troops Will Retake Mosul From IS"
A senior defence official in the US has given more details about military plans to retake Iraq's second largest city, Mosul, from Islamic State militants.
The official says as many as 25,000 troops will be involved, with most of them Iraqis who are being trained by the US.
According to the American military, the operation to recapture the northern city will most likely take place in April or May.
Mosul was home to more than 1,000,000 people before it fell to IS last June.
