Are Forces Personnel Getting Lazy With Saluting?

The Ministry of Defence has reminded forces personnel to salute and respect their superiors after complaints they are getting lax with proper etiquette. It has republished a poster called 'The Pecking Order' to show ranks in a light hearted way.

The poster incorporates all titles for members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and RAF.

It isn't just poor saluting that has caused annoyance amongst senior personnel. There have been reports of 'mate' and 'boss' being used instead of 'Sir.' While the poster itself isn't too serious, the complaints behind it certainly are.
