Armed Forces Review Outlined In Queen's Speech

Her Majesty The Queen has outlined plans for a review of Britain’s Armed Forces at the State Opening of Parliament.
 
Also pledged in the Queen's Speech, which sets out the government's legislative agenda to both Houses of Parliament, were Britain's commitment to NATO and to defeating terrorism in the Middle East.  
 
1,384 members of the Armed Forces and 229 horses, meanwhile, were on public show in a variety of ceremonial roles throughout the day.
