Assad: Syria Informed on Anti-IS Air Campaign
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has defended his government’s actions in the Middle East and denied his forces use barrel bombs to kill thousands of civilians in rebel-held areas.
He did confirm that he does receive ‘general messages’ about air strikes by the US-led coalition through third parties in an interview with the BBC, however.
