Body of British Soldier Killed in Cyprus Repatriated

The body of a British soldier, who was killed during a training exercise in Cyprus, has been repatriated. 
 
Private Sawyer was a chef attached to The 2nd Battalion, The Mercian Regiment Battlegroup. 
 
He was serving with a UN Peacekeeping force in Cyprus when he was killed in a canoeing incident.
 
His coffin was flown into RAF Brize Norton before being greeted by 100 troops from his regiment, the Royal Logistics Corps, in Carterton.
