Campaign To Find Senior RAF Officer's Stolen Medals
A senior RAF officer has had his medals stolen during a burglary on his flat in Belgium.
The medals belong to Air Commodore Paddy Teakle, who’s been serving with the RAF since 1979.
They represent 35 years of service and include a Distinguished Service Order and an OBE.
Air Commodore Teakle is one of the most highly-decorated serving officers, having served in the Falklands in 1982 right through to every theatre of war today.
Forces TV filmed him recently as part of our 'We Were There' series - you can see a clip of the 'Tornado Force' episode in which he featured here.

And there's now a growing social media campaign to find and return his medals.
The military community, meanwhile, has been having its say on the theft and hopes for the medals' recovery:
@JohnNicholRAF@StephenDixonTV there are some people out there who do despicable things. Will retweet in the hope of them being found.
