"Challenge Posed By Russia Global And Enduring"
NATO's top commander in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, says the challenge posed by Russia is "global and enduring".
Speaking at a US Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington, General Breedlove said Russia may be taking advantage of a recent lull in fighting in eastern Ukraine to launch a new military offensive in the country.
The United States claims Russia now has its largest force on the Ukrainian border since October last year.
