Coldstream Guards Take Part In NATO Exercise

More than 1,000 troops have been taking part in a NATO exercise in Romania designed to improve co-operation and test the integration of allied forces in Europe.
 
The Coldstream Guards have been training alongside US, Canadian and Romanian soldiers for the past three weeks. They’ve been sharing skills and testing firepower on the battlefield.
 
SARMIS-15, also known as Exercise Carpathian Express, is part of the series of joint exercises taking place both in Romania and abroad as part of the "Atlantic Resolve" operation.
 
It's a multinational exercise which includes 1,500 troops combined with 200 items of military hardware from Canada, Romania the US and the UK.
