"Defence Projects Could be Delayed or Cancelled"
Defence equipment projects risk being delayed or cancelled altogether, according to spending watchdog the National Audit Office.
The warning was made in response to the publication of the MoD's 10-year plan, which the department says is realistic, affordable and delivers excellent value for money.
The NAO is questioning the figures however, saying future programmes may cost more than has been accounted for, with savings to be made also overestimated.
