DIO To Promote Role In Defence Community

26th July 2014 at 1:18pm

This week, I made a video on DIO as not many people know what we do.

The short, snappy video highlights a number of riveting facts about the role of DIO and what we do across the Defence Estate.

•Supporting the UK Armed Forces to live work and deploy

•Building and managing Service Family Accommodation

•Building and managing Single Living Accommodation

•Catering, cleaning and maintenance

DIO Communications Officer Tony Adams said:

"The video is absolutely fascinating, it’s a must watch and it will result in a major increase in knowledge about DIO across the Defence community."

The short two-minute package also highlights successful environmental projects that include:

•Planting forests

•Protecting habitats

•Managing and protecting areas of special scientific interest
