Disabled Veteran Attempting 1,000 Mile World Record For Charity

When a retired Army Corporal was told he had an inoperable vascular condition, instead of feeling sorry for himself, he immediately started thinking of others.

Andy McIntosh is now about to undertake a rather unusual world record attempt for charity.

He's hoping to become the fastest man to travel the length of the country in a mobility scooter.

If all goes well, it'll take him just over two weeks to get from John-O’-Groats to Land’s End.

Anyone wishing to sponsor Andy can do so at www.justgiving.com/Andrew-Mcintosh42
