EU Extends Sanctions Against Russia
The European Union has decided to extend sanctions against Russia amid escalating violence in Ukraine.
It came after RAF fighter jets were scrambled to intercept two Russian bombers which flew close to UK airspace on Wednesday.
The Foreign Office has summoned the Russian ambassador to London to explain why the two planes flew over the area.
