Falklands Veterans Awarded South Atlantic Medals After 33 Years

More than 100 Falklands veterans who served aboard HMS Illustrious have been awarded their South Atlantic medals at a ceremony in Portsmouth.
 
The recognition has come more than three decades after the war between Britain and Argentina, after the UK government announced last year that all of those who arrived to 'clean up' after the war would also receive the medal.
