Flower Power Overcoming The Invisible Wounds Of Conflict

Lance Sergeant Johnson Beharry has returned to the Gardening Leave charity in Scotland, eight years after he opened the first site in Ayrshire.

The Victoria Cross recipient was there to officially open the refurbished gardens, which have been made more accessible to veterans.

LSgt Johnson Beharry earned the prestigious award during some of the fiercest engagements between British Forces and Iraqi Insurgents in the volatile town of Al Amarah, Iraq.
