"Forces in Combat Zones Need Protection From Prosecution"

The British Armed Forces need urgent protection from prosecution under the European Convention of Human Rights for acts carried out in combat zones, according to several former Chiefs of the Defence staff.
 
It came in a letter to the The Times newspaper, with the authors calling for political parties to include the prospective legislation in their manifestos.
