Forces TV Survey Reveals Concerns Over Army Cuts

A Forces TV poll has found widespread concern about the effect of cutbacks on the Army.

A staggering 80% of those asked said they believe the Army can't currently defend Britain from the threats it faces.

A survey by a forces charity, meanwhile, has found that two-thirds of those questioned think there should be no more cuts to the Army.

ABF The Soldiers' Charity polled just over 2,000 people ahead of Armed Forces Day this weekend.

Almost half of the people surveyed, meanwhile, said they didn’t think the Army could meet the real threats to modern Britain.
