Former Army Head: Britain Suffering From "Campaign Fatigue"

Britain is suffering from “campaign fatigue” after its experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, alongside a government belief that defence is not a vote-winner, according to the former head of the British Army.
 
General Sir Peter Wall has called on the government to honour its pledge to undertake “sustained reinvestment” in the military by keeping defence spending at the two per cent of GDP level required by NATO membership.
