Former Defence Minister: "Iraq Must Not Fall Into Hands Of ISIS"
The Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, has managed to advance in the face of American-led airstrikes by employing a mix of persuasion and violence. That has allowed it to amas a vast territory cutting across Iraq and Syria.
Conservative MP and former defence minister, Sir Gerarld Howarth spoke to Forces TV and said he welcomed further intervention by the US.
