Islamic State Destroy Ancient City Palmyra
The United Nations is condemning the destruction by Islamic State militants of one of the most important temples in the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra.
The head of the UN cultural agency described it as 'an intolerable crime against civilisation'.
Satellite images have been released which confirm the key Temple of Bel has been flattened.
